Read
Read the official record first
The ISO record is read directly, and the stage feed is read as a machine record. The designation, edition, stage, stage dates, committee and ICS are taken from it. The abstract is read and restated in our words. No fact about the draft comes from memory, a search snippet or a third party's summary.
Then read the published standards
The draft's stated scope is risk sources, stakeholders, risk analysis, risk treatment and controls. That work is carried in public by ISO/IEC 23894:2023 and ISO/IEC 42001:2023. Each requirement page is written from one of those texts, cited to the clause, and kept in our own words.
Label
Four labels, used consistently
Published
The source states it, and the page links to the source. Most of the record is this.
Planning estimate
Our date, with its arithmetic and its stage basis on the page. It is never presented as an ISO date.
Not stated in the text
The source does not answer the question. The page says so and stops.
Our reading
An interpretation, such as how a control applies to a generative AI use. It is written as a reading and never as the instrument's words.
Check
The checks before publication
- Every requirement is compared with the source clause and the citation is on the page.
- The text passes a strict overlap check against the held source, so no sentence is reproduced.
- A blank free check returns scope incomplete, never a pass.
- A page is not built from memory. Where the source is silent, the page says so.
- Every sitemap URL is fetched and must return HTML.
- The refresh script diffs the ISO record against the data file and fails on a change.
